Turning Point. I live in two worlds, the world of thoughts and the world of communication. I was just given the new nickname Disneyland because of my initials. I love adventures and exploring to places where I shouldn’t go is my specialty. Traveling has always been a favorite hobby. As an Architecture student at the University of Southern California, I love being inspired by random stories, activities, and emotions. I’m a risk-taker and enjoys white water rafting. Flexibility motivates me to exercise so I love figure skating and gymnastics. I’m an introvert even though people assume I’m not. I’m rather shy when I don’t know the people around me but once I get to know them better and hang out with them, I’m open. Other than that, I usually input my thoughts in writing. I’m learning how to become a better leader every day. I love getting connected with people from around the world so watch out for me in 20 years from now. Who knows where I’ll be.

It all started with a diary. I was never good with essay writing, but I excelled in creative writing. When I was little, my grandmother influenced me to write in a journal, a place where I release my inner thoughts. My grandmother came from Hong Kong and was not excellent in English. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I observed my grandma jotting down vocabulary words and grammar rules in a small notebook that she keeps with her every day. That’s how she learns English. In another notebook, she wrote down her thoughts to God. Since she has gone to Heaven, I’ve been writing in my diary to tell God how my life is. God is the messenger between me and my grandma. So I started wordpressing so that I have a place to fangirl. Then it turned out out to be a place to type out my stories. Now, it’s just a place to put my thoughts. This is the random thoughts of an Architecture student.

Love your family. Love your friends. I go by one rule and that rule is to love your family and friends no matter what happens. I’m an only child who dreamed to get away from her parents once she graduates high school. However, I’ve realized that my family are the ones who love me and understand me even though there are times when they can never understand my reasoning. But, they take care of me and I’ll always take of them. My grandpa has always been the one who comforts me and is always on my side. I was his first granddaughter and going back to Hong Kong allows me to spend the most of my summer life.
